In today’s Episode I speak with the very talented Elisa Valenti. She describes herself as a contemporary figurative artist changing our view of women through lush, confident paintings. I couldn’t agree more. If you’ve ever felt the pressure to look perfect (haven’t we all? and what is that anyway?) We discuss how her art career wasn’t typical. For many years she was a pharmacist and a pretty notable one at that. It wasn’t until later in life when she felt she had something to say with her art that she made the leap into a life as a full time creative. Elisa’s figures represent all of us, perfect in our imperfections. She really embraces who she is and after our conversation I felt inspired to do the same.
